Meris (Sally) E. Julian, 76 of Ferdinand, IN, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011, at her home.

 

She was born in Winslow, IN on March 4, 1935 to Ray and Norma (Barnett) Erwin. She lived in the Oakland City area most of her life. 

Before retiring in 1998, she worked at the Red & White Store for over 22 years. She was a member of Knights Chapel and the American Legion Post 256 Auxiliary. She was a homemaker and loved her family and friends. 

She is survived by her children Marla Sue (Kevin) Lubbehusen of Ferdinand, Mark Wayne Julian of Oakland City and Krista (Jamie Lynch) Julian of Mitchell; sister Veturia Quiggins of Ft. Branch; brothers Tom Erwin of Jasper and Bob Erwin of Ashire; 3 grandchildren Matthew Sturgeon, Kyle Lubbehusen and Vince VanDeventer and great granddaughter Caringtyn Sturgeon. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Harold Wayne Julian. 

Funeral services will be held on
Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 11 A.M. (central) at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with Brother Harley Nickless officiating. Burial will be at Knights Chapel Cemetery in Oatsville, IN.

 

Friends may visit from 4 until 8 P.M. Wednesday at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
