Shirley C. Osias, 79, of Elberfeld, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City.

She was born Oct. 26, 1932, in Evansville, daughter of Felix and Mabel (Burch) Toon.

She retired as a tax consultant for Farm Bureau.

Surviving are her husband, Jack Osias; daughter, Delores Dunn of San Bernardino, Calif.; son, Tom Crawford of Torrance, Calif.; sisters, Rose Bullock of Elberfeld and Dorothy Slater of Owensboro, Ky.; brothers, Jerry Toon of Kingston, Tenn.; and Ralph Toon of Evansville; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Joseph Toon.

Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel of Oakland City is in charge of arrangements.
