Norma F. Shepherd, 86, of Oakland City, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City.

She was born June 7, 1925, in Oakland City, to Thomas and Avis (Holt) Rutter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Crystal Graham and Velma Williams and brother, Tucker Rutter.

She attended Clark's Chapel General Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Odis W. Shepherd; son, Richard Shepherd of Rossville, Ga.; daughter, Linda Malone of Rossville, Ga.; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Rosetta Hamm of Oakland City, Pearl Gentry of Evansville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, with burial in Forsythe Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth McClain and Rev. Mike Whitaker will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the chapel.
