Linda Kay (Parker) Turpin, 58 of Patoka, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.

 

She was born March 20, 1953 in Fort Wayne.

 

She enjoyed woodworking and cooking.

 

She is survived by her two sisters, Debbie Smith and Diane Blaize, both of Hazleton; husband, Robert Turpin of Patoka; children, Melinda Thompson and Amanda Horner both of Hazleton, Gary Patrick of Fort Wayne, William S. Horner of Princeton, John Turpin of Evansville, Carrie Turpin of Princeton and Kit Turpin of Vincennes; 17 grandchildren; two nieces and four nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; Ronald W. and Lois "Lou Ann" Parker; her first husband, William L. Horner; sister, Carol Parker; nephew, Rodney Smith and niece, Corrissa McGuyer.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday Dec. 19, 2011 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Mike Tarner officiating.

 

Burial will be at the Hazleton Community Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from noon until service time Monday at the funeral home.
