MARY ESTHER KRUG, 95 of Hazleton passed away Thursday Jan. 5, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born July 29, 1916 in Hazleton to David and Esther (Yaden) Sherman. She was the eighth of twelve children. 

She had worked as a housekeeper at the Dream Motel in Patoka, and had previously owned and operated Krug’s Café in
Hazleton. She had lived in Hazleton most of her life, living 6 years in Michigan. She was a loving wife mother and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, knitting and canning. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marie and John Tolbert, Hazleton, grandson Bryan Paul (Michele) Tolbert, Hazleton, 2 great grandchildren, Bryanne (Logan) Parker, Princeton and Johnathon Tolbert, Hazleton, 3 step great grandchildren; Devan (Chad) Lambert, Jessie Richardson and Mitchael Richardson, 3 step great-great grandchildren, 1 brother, James Sherman, Princeton, many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Noel P. Krug in 1983, grandchildren Janice Marie (Tolbert) Hartman in 1991, and ten brothers and sisters. 

Funeral services will be
10 a.m. Monday Jan. 9, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Mike Tarner officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazleton Community Cemetery. Visitation will from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
