Mary Jo McDaniel, 91 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

 

She was born May 8, 1920 in Oakland City to George and Amy Chloe (Richardson) Sturgeon.

 

She had lived her entire lifetime in the Gibson County area.  She was a homemaker and a longtime beautician operating a salon out of her home. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church in Princeton and enjoyed sewing, cooking and painting. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Vicki McDaniel of Princeton; a daughter and son-in-law, Sue Ann and Bill Craddock of Deming, New Mexico; 4 grandchildren, Ty (Amanda) McDaniel, Alice (Matt) Hopper, David (Michele) Craddock, Jay (Marci) Craddock; and 8 great-grandchildren, Ben and Jack McDaniel, Ryan Hopper, Amy, Troy, Jamie, Cassidy and Cameron Craddock. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband R. Graydon McDaniel in 1997; a brother Theodore Sturgeon and a sister Velma Moore. 

Funeral Services will be held at
10 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, Ind. with Rev. Austin Odom officiating. Burial will be at the Warnock Cemetery in Princeton.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.
