Erwin F. Glordan, 96, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at St. Mary's Medical Center.

 

He was born May 16, 1915.

He had worked at Elberfeld Block Company and he retired from Elberfeld Manufacturing Company. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (Besing) Glordan, in 2007; his parents, Fred and Lizzie (Meyer) Glardon; and his sister, Elvira Ellerbrook.

He is survived by his children, Deloyce Davenport, of Grand Prairie, Texas, Robert Glordan (Sue), of Corydon, Ind., Judy Blackard (Larry), of Ft. Branch, Ind., Karen Trible (Ralph), of Elberfeld and Kathy Duncan and companion, John Dyer, of Wadesville, Ind.; also 12 grandchildren, Scott Glordan, Troy Glordan, Chuck Davenport, Shawn Fuller, Misty Workman, Stacy Brittingham, Jason Blackard, Crystal Sensmeier, Ashley Minks, Jacob Duncan, Heather Trible and Heidi Trible; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. 

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd and Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Indiana, 812-983-4211. Rev. Steve Oeth will officiate and burial will follow at Nobles Chapel Cemetery.

 

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
