Sherrlyn S. (Madden) Pauley, 75, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.

 

She was born May 20, 1936 in Gibson County to Arthur J. and Corriene (Lindsey) Madden.

 

Sherrlyn graduated from Princeton High School class of 1954, and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Princeton. She was a 50 year member of Golden Fleece Eastern Star 176, member of Daughters of the Nile, former member of the Salvation Army Board and the United Way Board.

 

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, William (Bill) Pauley; brother, Jack (Mary) Madden of Evansville; sister, Joyce Utley of Newton, Ill.; several nieces and nephews; great- nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews which meant everything to Aunt Bo.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Ed Utley and infant niece Sherrlyn Elaine Utley.

 

Services will be Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church on the corner of Prince and State Streets in Princeton. The Rev. Barry L. Wynveen will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville and from 9 a.m. until the service time at the church.
