Betty J. Robb, 70, passed away Monday Feb. 20, 2012 at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

 

She was born in Ft. Knox, KY on December 2, 1941 to Mike and Mary Ellen (Spain) Kunkel.

 

She retired from Master Brand Cabinets in Jasper where she was a cabinetmaker. She had also worked for Pike Central High School and Hansen Corporation. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and being with her grandchildren. She had lived in Dale since 1996, previously living in Iowa and Pike County. She was a member of the Rumbletown Free Methodist Church

She is survived by her husband James Robb of Dale; mother Mary Ellen Kunkel of Patoka; son and daughter-in-law Brad Alan and Carrie Robb of Mt. Vernon; daughter Cindy Ann Robb Minnis of Princeton; sister Michele Bishop of Patoka; 5 grandchildren, Aaron, Keenan and McKenzi Minnis, Zachary and Isabel Robb; mother-in-law, Olive Hale of Princeton. 

She was preceded in death by her father Mike Kunkel and brother-in-law Jackie L. Bishop.

Funeral Services will be held at
10 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Daniel Payton officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
