Jimmy L. Wilson 84, of Oakland City passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City.

 

He was born on October 29, 1927 in Puxico, Missouri to James & Gladys Wilson, both deceased.

 

He graduated from Oakland City College. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S Navy. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Oakland City Country Club and the Oakland City American Legion #256. 

He is survived by his stepson and wife, Hal and Carol Corn of Piedmont, OK; stepgrandson, Devin (Jessica) Corn of Saline, MI; 2 great-granddaughters, Madison and Elizabeth; and a half brother 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Marjorie Wilson in 1998. 

Graveside Services will be held at
10 AM on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City.

 

There will be no visitation. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City is in charge of arrangements. Military graveside services will be conducted by American Legion Post #256.
