May “Pearl” Crawford, 97, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at her home in Evansville. 

She was born May 1, 1914 in Princeton, to Baxter and Mary (Myrick) Hubbard.   

She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Hubbard of Evansville; her step-daughter, Sharon Thomas; four grandchildren, Paula Jefferson, Baxter Hubbard, Dina Thomas and Doug Thomas; seven great grandchildren, Ricky Burdick, Paul Burdick, Baxter Hubbard Jr., Sarah Adams, Isidro Zapata, Lindsey Thomas and Courtney Thomas; three great-great grandchildren, Ryan Adams, Carleo Zapata and Tyler Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Eugene Johnson; second husband, Delmar Crawford; son, Paul Allen Hubbard; three sisters, Alda Morgan, Hazel Hubbard and Opha Colbert; and three brothers, Jim, Dave and Raymond Hubbard. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be at Oddfellow Cemetery in Princeton. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.
