Clinton Henderson, 93, of Evansville passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at his home.

 

He was employed by Conard Corporation for 45 years, retiring in 1982.  Clint was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church for over 55 years.  He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 465 and a member of the 4th degree.  He was inducted into the Bruté Society for his service at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  He served in the Air Force during WWII in the 454th bombardment group, was a member of the American Legion Post #25 and VFW Post #1147 in Princeton, IN.  He enjoyed detailing cars and vacationing in Florida with his wife.

 

Clinton was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Cathleen P. Henderson on Oct. 14, 2009; parents Minnie Lee and Clinton Stanley Henderson. 

 

He is survived by sons Stan Henderson and wife Deneice and Steven Henderson and wife Karen all of Evansville; daughter Donna Jean Barclay and husband Ron of Indianapolis; grandchildren Ryan Henderson, Scott Henderson, Eric Henderson, Ross Barclay, Jeanette Knibbe, Kayla Henderson and April Mayes; great grandchildren Landon and Madison Mayes, Kaiden and Emily Knibbe and Leah Kate Henderson,; sister Juanita Schnacke; sisters-in-law Sister Shirley Massy, OSF, Virginia Massey and Tere Massey; nieces and nephews. 

 

Visitation will be from 2 – 7 pm Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, with a memorial service at 6:30 pm.  Visitation will continue from 9:30 – 10 am Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47714.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 am Monday, March 12, 2012 at the church with Fr. Bernard Etienne officiating.

 

Entombment will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct graveside services.
