Carol Jean Jones, 80 of Princeton, IN and formerly of Hazelton, IN passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

 

She was born August 14, 1931 in Patoka to Clarence and Helen (Stiles) Brown.

 

She was a farmer’s wife and worked at Parkers Red & White Grocery from 1972 to 1982. She was an avid sports fan, including the Princeton Tigers, I.U., and the St. Louis Cardinals. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Marvin Fisher of Princeton; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Dawn Cunningham of Anderson, S.C.; granddaughter, Kelsey Cunningham; brothers, Charles and David Brown both of Princeton; sisters, Clara Helen Hulfachor of Patoka and Janet Sue Dunning of Woodbury, TN. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband, Marvin Cunningham in 1981; 2nd husband, Leonard Jones Sr. in 2001; and a sister, Mary Scott. 

Funeral Services will be held at
10 AM on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home, with Rev. John Dunn officiating. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Hazleton.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.
