Margaret L. Evans, 89, of Haubstadt, IN, formally of Evansville, IN, passed away on Monday , Apr. 9, 2012 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN.

She was born to the late Mose and Goldie (Karnes) Barnes on Apr. 17, 1922 in Evansville, IN.

Margaret had worked at the Mental Health Association.

Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Mose and Cornelius Barnes. Margaret is survived by 4 children, Wayne (Carol) Evans of Columbus, IN , Janice (Clinton) Heuring of Haubstadt, IN, Randell Evans of Oakland City, IN, and Mark Evans of Austin, TX, 6 grand children, Clinton Wayne, Bradley, and Mark Heuring, Jason, Justin, and David Evans, and 11 great grand children.

Graveside services for Margaret will be on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville, IN, with Rev. Tim Ahlemeyer officiating.

A 1 hour visitation will be on Thursday, Apr. 12th, from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN. The family would like to thank River Oaks Health Campus for the special care given to their mother.
