Franklin Delano Glenn, 76, Mt. Carmel, Ill., died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at his home.

 

He was born Feb. 9, 1936, in Gibson County, son of Harding J. and Alberta (Crouch) Glenn.

 

He married Shirley Eileen Seaton July 9, 1960, in Mount Carmel. He was a retired oil field driller and enjoyed spending time with his family and mowing his yard.

 

Surviving are his wife, sons Kenny (Velvet) Glenn and Gary Glenn, both of Mt. Carmel; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 

Preceding him in death were his parents; infant daughter Karen Annette Glenn; sisters Mildred Debes, Thelma Jean Vickers; brothers Vaughn Glenn, Jerry Glenn; two half-sisters, Beulah Hendrix and Juanita Stackhouse; and a half-brother, Chester “Bud” Glenn.

 

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Family Tradition Funeral Home in Mt. Carmel, Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Burial follows at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

 

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service hour Saturday at the funeral home.
