William Littlepage, Jr., 71, of West Salem, Ill., passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, Ill.

He was born Dec. 20, 1940, in Madisonville, Ky., son of William N. and Mildred (Dame) Littlepage.

He married Ada LaMar Dec. 7, 1968, in Hazleton, and she survives.

He worked for Champion Laboratories in the maintenance department, retiring in 1997. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of the Albion Masonic Lodge. He loved all his grandchildren very much.

Surviving are his wife, Ada, of West Salem; his mother, Mildred Littlepage of Owensville; a daughter, Malinda Hobson of Carmi, Ill.; a son, Thomas Littlepage of Hazleton; a sister, Judy (John) Maas of Owensville; a brother, Colby Littlepage of Owensville; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, a sister and one great grandchild.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem, with burial in Zion United Methodist Cemetery in West Salem.

Visitation is Thursday from noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
