Emma Kathleen Bell, 95 passed away Sunday May 27, 2012 at the Hospice of Blue Ash in Blue Ash Ohio.

 

She was born Mar. 15, 1917 in Albion, IL to William and Idella May (Severns) Shaw.

 

She had lived most of her life in Princeton and spent the last year and a half in Milford OH near her daughter. 

Kathleen was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was member of Broadway Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed attending church, participating in her Home Economics Club and accompanying her husband on various Lions Club activities. 

She is survived by a daughter, Rita Bell Hagedorn and husband David of Cincinnati, OH; and 3 sisters, Jessie Schroeder and Ruth Doty both of Albion, IL and Barbara Ann Rodgers of Richland, IN, and 12 grandchildren, Stephanie Land of Simpsonvile, KY: Gretchen Belcher of Corydon, IN; and Courtney Mason of Louisville KY: Jeffrey Hagedorn of Ft. Wright, KY; Todd Hagedorn (Emily) of Holland MI; Lisa Kinley (Danny) of Portland Or; Jamie Accurso (Nick) of Cincinnati; Gina Eiben (Matt) of Portland OR; and Kevin Hagedorn of New York City, NY, 8 great grandchildren, Chloe and Avery Land, Emily Tincher, Hayley and Shannon Belcher and Gavin Priddy, Nathan Hagedorn, Calvin, Nina and Lulu Kinley (due), Milo and Stella Accurso, Charles Eiben, and Juniper Bell Hagedorn, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David I. Bell, infant son David Lloyd Bell and son Larry Joe Bell. six brothers, Kenneth, Ellis, Joe, Lyman, Eugene and Thomas "Jack" Shaw. 

Funeral Services will be
2 p.m. Saturday June 2, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. John Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

 

Visitation will be from 12 until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
