Glenda Sue Helm, 65, passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 at her home in Princeton.

 

She was born March 15, 1947 in Central City, Ky. to J.T. and Carmen (Bruce) Goodloe.

 

She retired in January 2011 as First Deputy for the Gibson County Recorders Office where she had worked for 28 years. She had lived in Gibson County all of her life. She was a member of the Columbia General Baptist Church where she was involved in the Mission Group of the church. She was an active member of the Democrat Women’s Organization, member of the Recorders Association.

 

She is survived by her husband Robert Helm, Princeton, sons, Brian Moore and wife Tanya, Panama City Beach Fla., Jeffrey Moore and wife Katrina, Princeton, Robert W. Helm, Owensboro, Ky., Edward L. Helm, Owensville, Stephen E. Helm and wife Felecia, Francisco, sister Carol Singer, Princeton and brother Larry Goodloe, Princeton, 12 grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Austin and Trevor Moore and Selena Cropper, Andrew, Clay, Jacob, Kory, Brian, Haley and Michael Helm, great grandchildren Aiden J. Moore and Savanna Helm, and several nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Judy Croft, grandchildren, Kyle E. and Robert W. Helm.

 

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday June 1, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Colvin Funeral Home. The family would to thank Southern Care Hospice for all their kindness and support.
