Lauren R. Hale, 20, of Princeton, passed away  Saturday, June 16, 2012 from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident.  

 

She was born Dec. 27, 1991, in Evansville, to Dave Hale and Stacey Kohlhouse.

 

Lauren was about to graduate from Vincennes Beauty College, and worked at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Vincennes.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Princeton.  She was a sports enthusiast and especially loved softball and volleyball. 

 

She is survived by her parents, Dave and his fiancée, Shayla Medlen of Princeton, and Stacey and John Kohlhouse of Fort Branch; brothers and sisters, Dalen Hale of Fort Branch, Isaac Hale of Princeton, Taylor Medlen of Vincennes, Micheal Kohlhouse of Freelandville, Payton and Jacqueline Kohlhouse  of Princeton; Grandparents, Jack Hale of Francisco, Dale and Sue Leffler of Oakland City, and Jo Ann Kohlhouse of Bicknell,  and great-grand parents, Jim and Dessie Sherman of Princeton.

 

She is preceded in death by grandparents, Harold and Jean Rostron, Great grandparents, Nellie and Coleman Hale; an uncle, Ronnie Rostron, and an aunt, Linda Rostron.

 

Funeral service for Lauren will be Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. at  Stodghill Funeral Home on Ind 168 West in Fort Branch, Pastor George Prinzing officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Branch.

 

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home, where a Rosary service  led by Father Tony Ernst will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues Thursday from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
