Jack Randall Warnsman, 81, of Oakland City, Ind. entered rest on Sunday June 3, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Ind.

 

He was a resident of Golden Living Center in Petersburg, Ind.

He was born on December 11, 1930, in Princeton Hospital to Ruth and George Warnsman.

 

He was preceded in death by his daughter Julie Ann Hendricks in 2008.
Jack was a Korean War Veteran serving four years and member of Oakland City American Legion Post #256. He attended
Evansville College and was lifelong member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. Also was an avid golfer, past President of Oakland City Kiwanis and Oakland City Golf Club and a member of S.Q.U.A D. Jack retired from Alcoa Warrick Operation in 1993 after 30 years.

Surviving wife of 61 years Peggy (Sheetz) Warnsman, of Oakland City, Ind.; sons, Jack Randall II (Kim) Warnsman, of Petersburg Ind., Michael Dean (Pam) Warnsman, of Harrisburg, Ill.; grandchildren, Andrea (Dustin) Madison, Aaron (Reva) Warnsman, Jake (Abby) Warnsman, Samantha 
and Stephanie Hendricks; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother, Jim (Martha) Warnsman, of Huntingburg, Ind.; and brother-in-law, Garold (Pat) Sheetz, of Kettering, Ohio.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with Dr. Douglas Low officiating. Burial will take place in Montgomery Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
