Joan Wright, 86, Princeton, died Monday at Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton

 

She was born Sept. 30, 1925 in Coffeeville, Kan. to William H. and Julia J. (Osborne) Bennett.

 

She was owner/operator of W & F Realty for approximately 30 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Princeton.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Joni Wright of Princeton; son, Michael (Joanne)Wright of Guyton, Ga.; grandchildren, Tyler (Chris) Goodman of Phoenix, Ariz., and Alexander Houston of Bloomington; and a sister, Betty Lee (Don) Cook of Wichita, Kansas.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert P. Wright in 1996; and several brothers and sisters.

 

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Ed Dean. Burial will follow. 

 

There will be no public visitation. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
