Donald Paul Boyle, Sr., 75, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 surrounded by his children.

 

He was born February 17, 1937 in Evansville. Donald lived his entire life in southern Indiana (Vanderburgh and Gibson counties).

 

He served in the United States Navy and was a retired Ironworker. He loved hunting and fishing but most of all spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his children, Shannon (Roger) Conder, Nola (Kenny) Brinkley, Donnie Jr. (Susie) Boyle and Ellie (Roger) Hopkins; nine grandchildren, TJ Dunn, Jessica Meece, Roger Conder, Amanda Conder, Sheryl Brubaker, Jennifer Blades, Jamie Schauss, Valerie Conder and Joshue Brinkley; 17 great grandchildren; six siblings, Frances (Greg) Christopher, Mary Johann, Sharon (Kenny) Titzer, Becky Golike-Embry, David (Terri) Boyle and Vicki (Mark) Clark; 29 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

 

Donald was preceded in death by his son, Michael Vesper; his dad, Vep; his mom, Eula Mae “Toots”; a brother, Kenneth and a sister, Linda.

 

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Terry Gamblin officiating.

 

Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Columbia White Church Cemetery at a later date. V.F.W. 1147 will provide military rites at the funeral home prior to the services.

 

Donald’s children want to thank his friends Gaither and Jackie Jernigan for the care they have given to their dad during the last year.
