Annabelle R. Gowen, 89, of Oakland City, entered rest on Tuesday July 3, 2012 at Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City.

She was born Dec. 11, 1922 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to H. Jack and Cecil (Wright) Ramsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond Gowen.

She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in business for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeannie Frederick of Oakland City; sons, Jack Gowen of Bowling Green, Ky. and Joe and Bill Gowen of Oakland City; seven  grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren

Services are Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, Brother Clayton Claridge officiating.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the chapel and from 8 a.m. until services Saturday.
