Barbara Jean Putt, 75, of Bone Gap, IL passed away at 3:25AM Wednesday, July 25, 2012 surrounded with her family at her home.

Barbara was born
February 26, 1937 in Friendsville, IL to R. J. Santucci, Jr. and Mildred Painter.

 

She married Charles 'Bill' Putt February 12, 1955 and he preceded her in death November 20, 1998

Barbara was a homemaker and was a
Bone Gap Village trustee for 20 years. She was a seamstress for many years at Johnnye Manufacturing in Albion and Mt. Carmel Apparel at Mt Carmel. She was a member of Bone Gap Christian Church, Bone Gap Saddle Club, Bone Gap Community Club and helped with Bone Gap Chowder for many years.

Barbara is survived by her mother Mildred Painter Sanders of Olney, IL; one daughter Connie Mowrer (Arlie) of Claremont, IL; three sons Jerry Putt and Steven Putt of Bone Gap, IL and Bill Putt (Beth) of Oakland City, IN. Five grandchildren Ryan Koertge (Erin) of Clay City, IL; Aubrey Seibert (Ryan) and Stephanie Koertge of Albion, IL; Christina Schatz (James) and Scott Putt of Oakland City, IN and five great grandchildren Drew Seibert, Eli, Ben, and Gideon Koertge, and Dalaney Schatz also survive.

Preceding her in death were her husband Charles 'Bill', daughter Vickie Denise and her father R. J. Santucci, Jr.

Funeral services for Barbara Jean Putt will be
1:00PM Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Bone Gap Christian Church. Burial will be in Bone Gap Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be noon to time of service Saturday at the church.
