Teresa A. "Terri" Hooker, 60 of Oakland City passed away Wednesday Aug. 1, 2012 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

 

She was born Sept. 15, 1951 in Princeton to Robert and Helen (Gentry) Harvey. 

She was a homemaker. She had lived in
Oakland City since December of 2006, moving there from Central City, KY, and was formerly of Princeton. She was a former Boy Scout mother and Girl Scout leader, former member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Member of Gibson County Historical Society, she enjoyed genealogy and scrap booking. 

She is survived by her husband, Robin Hooker of Oakland City; mother, Helen Harvey of Princeton; daughter, Dawn Schlageter of Camden OH; son, Ryan Hooker of Evansville; step-daughter, Tammy Stuckey of Ft. Branch; brother, Ron Harvey of Scottsboro, AL; 11 grandchildren, Kyle and Austin Dowden, Cory, Tyler, Shawn, Justin, Payton and Rylee Hooker, Derek Smitha, Catrina Fischer and Hannah Baumgart and 5 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Harvey. 

Funeral services will be
6 p.m. Sunday Aug. 5, 2012 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with Rev. Ron Harvey officiating.

 

Visitation will from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
