Beulah J. Smith, 86 of Princeton passed away Saturday August 25, 2012 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

She was born March 29, 1926 in Francisco to James Arthur and Oma Kate (Boswell) Stormont. 

She had lived in Gibson County all of her life and was a homemaker. She attended Bethlehem General Baptist Church in Ft. Branch. Beulah had played the organ and piano in churches since the age of 13. She was an artist, seamstress and an avid cross-stitcher.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Smith of Princeton; her children, Donna Smith of Princeton; Cheryl Smith of Bicknell and Kevin Smith of Princeton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Elma Stormont, and a brother Paul Stormont.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday August 29, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Ron Austin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Columbia “White” Church Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Wed. at the Colvin Funeral Home.
