James “Jim” H. Alexander, age 80, of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 09, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Home & Rehabilitation Center in Oakland City

 

He was born Nov. 16, 1931 in Hopkins County, Ky. to Leander and Carrie (Moore) Alexander, both of whom precede him in death. 

 

He was a mold press operator at Midstates Rubber for 40 years and attended the Greater Holy Temple of God in Christ Church in Princeton. On July 21, 1981, in Francisco he married Debra Morrison.

 

He is survived by his wife, Debra of Princeton; sons, James (Joann) Alexander of Francisco and John (Crystal) Alexander of Princeton; daughters, Jamie Wheatly of Princeton, Rhonda (Claude) White of Union and Tonya (J.T.) Krieg of Princeton.

 

Other survivors include; brothers, Elmo (Linda) Alexander of Benton, Ky., David (Marla) Alexander of Paducah, Ky. and Edward “Ebby” Alexander also of Paducah, Ky., a sister Goldie Evans of Madisonville, Ky. and eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

 

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. at White Church Cemetery in Princeton with Rev. William Simmons officiating.

 

Everyone will meet at the cemetery.   Doyle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
