Frances J. Bigham, 83, of Oakland City entered rest on Thursday Sept. 12, 2012 at her home surrounded by loving family.

 

She was born on Jan. 9, 1929 in Sebree Ky. to Robert and Alma (Hawkins) Todd.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Raymond 1990 a daughter Rebecca Lynn Schultheis 2009, two sisters and five brothers.

 

Frances had worked at Boehne Camp Hospital, East Gibson School Corp, Good Samaritan Nursing Home and was a devoted Homemaker.

 

Surviving are daughters: Phyllis (Billy) Cole of Augusta, Ga, Kathy Jane Bigham Iles of Oakland City; sons: Jim (Suzanne) Bigham, Bill (Karin) Bigham of Oakland City and Harold Ray (Robin) Bigham of Owensboro, Ky.; 17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; sisters; Ina Mae Latham of Newburgh, Ruby Abbney, Barbara Massey and Genny Payne all of Evansville.

 

Services will be Sunday Sept. 16, 2012 2 p.m. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Rev. Larry Stoops will be officiating.

 

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from noon until services on Sunday.
