Pamela P. Smith Byrns, 85, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at home.

 

She was born March 21, 1927 in England and had resided in Princeton since 1954 after coming to the United States from England in 1948.

 

She was a member of the Church of God/Anderson in Princeton. She was retired and had formerly worked at Hansen’s Mfg. in Princeton for 17 years.

 

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Flamion and a son, Anthony Smith both of Princeton; four grandchildren, Richard Lau, Jr., Heath Phillips, Christopher James Smith and Allison Courtney Smith; also four great grandchildren, Shelby and Hannah Phillips and Ryan and Randy Smith.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel (Moles) Taylor; first husband, Charles Daniel Smith, Sr. in 1979; three sons, Harry James Smith, Peter David Allen Smith and Charles Daniel Smith, Jr.; two sisters, Nancy Abbott and Vera Potter; two step brothers, Stanley and Jack Squirrel.

 

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at Columbia White Church Cemetery. Burial will follow.

 

Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
