Rev. J.W. Creasey, 94, of Oakland City passed away on Wednesday Sept. 12, 2012 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

 

He was born on Sept. 14, 1917 in Caldwell County Ky. To William Layette & Mary Bird (Sandefer) Creasey .

 

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, a son Howard Creasey, wife Pauline Creasey and two grandchildren and one great granddaughter, five sisters, four brothers.

 

Survived by children: Earl Creasey (Phyllis) of Russellville, Tennessee, Joyce Campbell (George) of Dayton, Ohio, Vada Ferry (John) of Oakland City and Daughter-in-Law Patsy Creasey of Oakland City; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; brothers: Conrad Delano Creasey of Providence Ky. and Douglas Creasey of Princeton, Ky.

 

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Friday Sept. 15, 2012 at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City.

 

Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Friday. Rev. Ronald Marsh will be officiating. Burial will be in the Beech Grove Kentucky cemetery on Saturday.
