PRINCETON—Evelyn (Howe) Lynch Curry, 96, of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at The Waters in Princeton.

 

She was born Feb. 27, 1916 in Bristow to George and Marguerite (Goffinet) Howe. 

 

She retired in 1981 from F&M Building Supply after 25 years. She is a 60-year member of the United Presbyterian Church in Princeton.  She is also a member of D.A.R. and The Rebekah’s

 

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Lynch (Alan Moore) and Freda Collins all of Evansville; 7 grandchildren, Justin, Shannon and Aaron Collins, Kevin Goebel, Sherry Adams, Tracy Pheifer and Maggie Byrns; and 11 great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Herschel Lynch and Ossie Curry; son, Fred Lynch; granddaughter, Keela Lynch; son-in-law, Alan Collins; sisters, Nellie Hale and Enid Lynch.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday Sept. 20, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Barry Wynveen officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka.

 

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.
