Franklin F. Douglas, 78,
passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at Transcendent Healthcare of Owensville.
He was born Jan. 7, 1934 at the home in FortBranch the son of William and Artemesa
Frank is a graduate of FortBranchHigh
of 1952, member of the BethlehemGeneralBaptistChurch and the Princeton VFW. He served in the United States
Army during the Korean Conflict and was a grain and livestock farmer.
Survivors include his
brothers, Gerald (Pat), David (Karen), Roderic (Suzette)
Douglas; sisters, Judy Pritchett and Mary Lou Douglas;
step-children, Brenda Lee, Vicki Hulse and Fred
Eaton; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, his wife, Dorothy; sister, JoAnn Douglas
and brother, James Douglas.
Services will be held at , Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Ron Austin
officiating. Burial will follow in the BlytheCemetery with military graveside services conducted by the
American Legion Post 51 and the VFW Post 1147.
Visitation will be from Wednesday, at the funeral home.
