OWENSVILLE—Dorothy M. Moore, 86, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was born March 12, 1926 in Hazelton the daughter of Rudolph G. and Mildred M. (Schultz) Barker.

Dorothy was a graduate of Owensville High School class of 1944. She was a member of the Owensville United Methodist Church and the Ft. Branch VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Dorothy retired from Wabash General Hospital after 32 years and then worked at the Hampton Inn in Princeton for eight years.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ruth (Ed) Wilkerson; sons, Gerald L. (Lisa) Moore, JV Moore and James (Anna) Moore; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sister, Delores Ann (Larry) Rieffel and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John J. Moore; daughter, Cheri Jo Moore; son, Scotty Ray Moore.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Holders Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Kloepping officiating. Burial will be in the Mauck Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
