OAKLAND CITY—Hazel Tooley, 65, of Oakland City, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6,
2012 at her home in Oakland City.
She was born Feb. 21, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pa. to Marlin and Hazel (Ross) Meier.
She retired from HeartlandHealthCenter. She was a member of the FirstGeneralBaptistChurch in OaklandCity and was very active in the Women’s Missions at the
church. She played the piano at Good Samaritan Nursing Home and the WalnutGroveChurch.
She is survived by her
husband of 40 years, AmonTooley
of Oakland City; mother, Hazel Meier of Princeton; daughters, Melody Tooley and Melinda
(David) Sams both of OaklandCity; grandchildren, Lukas and Owen Sams;
brother, David Meier of Evansville;
and two sisters, Marlene Bassett and Marlane Bryant
both of Princeton.
She was preceded in death by
her father, Marlin Meier.

Sept. 10, 2012 at FirstGeneralBaptistChurch at 224 W. Harrison St., Oakland City IN, 47660, with Pastor Larry Johnson officiating.
