Robert Eugene Ferguson, of Clute, was born Nov. 7, 1959 in Princeton to Betty Lou (Dunn) and James Richard Ferguson and died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 in Lake Jackson at the age of 52 years, 11 months and 20 days. 

Robert worked as a pipefitter for many years with several local companies.

Robert was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Pyle and her husband Lowell; wife, Shirley Ferguson; sons, Chance Earl Lewis, Robert Charles; daughters, Annie Marie, Zondria Janette, Tina Lynn, Laura Marie; brother, James Ferguson; sister Rebecca Pearson; foster parents, Emery and Brenda King; two foster brothers, foster sister and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Restwood Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 in Locklin Cemetery, Thorndale, Texas.
