Joyce Marie Hyneman McDiarmid, 86, Evansville, formerly of Princeton, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at Parkview Care Center.

 

Joyce was born May 3, 1926 in Big Rapids, Mich.

 

She had worked as a patient sitter and health care aide. She was a former member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and past president of the Eagles Auxiliary.

 

Surviving Joyce are two daughters, Linda Joyce Hyneman of Georgetown, Fla. and Charlene (John) Christianson of Port Hadlock, Wash.; three sons, Don (Diane) Hyneman of Raleigh, N.C., Steven “Terry” (Karen) Hyneman of Evansville and Russell “Rusty” (Terri Kay) Hyneman of Haubstadt and her sister, Edna Cady of Big Rapids. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Russell Hyneman, Sr. in 1977 and Dean McDiarmid; two sons, Tom Hyneman and Barry Hyneman and 14 siblings.

 

Funeral services for Joyce will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, 2500 West Mesker Park Drive, in Evansville. Rev. Tony Ernst officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.

 

Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel.
