Jerry L. Terry, 70, went to be with the Lord  on Thursday Oct. 25, 2012 at his home in Princeton.

 

He was born Sept. 24, 1942 in Princeton to Stanley and Velma (White) Terry.

 

Jerry had lived in Princeton most of his life. He was retired from Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville after working there for 37 years. He was a member of AFL CIO Union Local 808 at Whirlpool. He loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed collecting things and scraping. He repaired washers and dryers for many years.

 

He is survived by his a daughter Angie Sumner (Daniel), sons Brian Terry (Patty) and Daniel Terry all of Princeton; grandchildren, Shannon Sumner, Nathaniel Sumner (Amanda), Zachariah Sumner (Christina), Jeremy Christian, Talia Harner (Jake), Brian Christopher Terry, Bradley Logan Terry, greatgrandchildren: Makayla, Makenzie and Jacob Loeffler, Wyatt, Adaline, Alexis and Chloe Sumner, Tristian Christian and Bentley Harner, brother Jim Terry, Ill.; sisters, Kay Bullock, Mt. Olympus and Joyce Loveless, Oakland City.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Rayetta Ann Terry in 2010, brothers, Don Bill and Buddy Terry, sisters, Carolyn Sue Terry, Janet Botts and Darlene Walker.

 

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday Oct. 28, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Jonathan Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbia White Church Cemetery

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
