Onita Jean Gillihan, age 64, of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at The Deaconess Hospice Care Center located in Evansville.

 

She was born on May 2, 1948 in Rupert, Kan. to Leon & Wilma (Bixler) Emerson.

 

On Aug. 18, 1971 in Oakland City she was married to Richard Gillihan who preceded on April 17, 2006.

 

She was a homemaker, living in the area for almost two years formerly of Evansville.  

 

She is survived by her father: Leon Emerson of Francisco and sons; Jason Gillihan of Princeton, Travis (Magen) Gillihan of Patoka, Justin (Kristen) Gillihan of Princeton. Step son; Mark Call of Ohio and step daughter; Tina Call also of Ohio. Other survivors include brother; Larry Emerson of Francisco and sister Darlene (Larry) Jones of Francisco and 11 grandchildren.

 

She is preceded in death by her mother and husband, Richard.

 

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St., Princeton, IN 47670 with Pastor Michael Douglas officiating. Internment will take place in the I.O.O.F. cemetery located in Francisco.

 

Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
