Jackie K. Pollock, 68, of Princeton passed away Tuesday Nov. 20, 2012 at the V.N.A. Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville

 

He was born in Princeton on Nov. 30, 1943 to Ernest and Mildred (Powell) Pollock. 

 

Jack was retired engineer with the Southern Railroad. After retirement he worked for the Wash and Go Car Wash in Princeton. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Enon General Baptist Church in Princeton and the American Legion Post 25. 

 

He is survived by his wife Quinith Pollock of Princeton; two daughters, Jacqueline Lober (Eric) of Flint MI; Kim Wells (John) of Princeton; one son, Kevin Leonard (Marilyn) of Perry GA; one brother Doyle Pollock of Princeton; six grandchildren, Kara, Alec, Alison, Mariah, Hannah and Travis, two great-grandchildren, Gage and Damion.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Russell Spencer, brothers, Richard, Ted, Joseph, Jerry, Ray, and David Pollock and sister Frances Collins.

 

Funeral services will be noon Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at the Enon General Baptist Church in Princeton, with Pastor Tammy Scheller officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.  Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is entrusted with arrangements.
