Velma B. "Pep" Spain, 87, of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

 

She was born March 12, 1925 in Knox County, Indiana to Gerald & Goldie Fern (Williams) Horrall.

 

She was a member of the Patoka United Methodist Church. She retired from Potter & Brumfield after 37 years. She loved to play cards and cook for her family. 

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Larry (Kathy) Flora of Patoka, Jean (John) Swift, Edwina Bayliss, and Bill (Joy) Denbo all of Virginia and Michelle Bishop of Patoka; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Kunkel of Patoka; and several great nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Willard Spain in 2003; sisters, Geraldine Denbo and Alice Flora; and a brother, George Horrall

Funeral Services will be held at
2 PM on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Daniel Payton officiating. Burial will be at Decker Cemetery near Princeton.

 

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
