Edith Marie (Daubenspeck) Beck, 96, died Sat., Dec. 22, 2012 at Transcendent Health Care of Owensville.

She was born Sept.23, 1916 in Sullivan, IN, the daughter of Vernon and Margaret Ellen (Griffin) Daubenspeck.

Edith graduated from Mt. Olympus High School, was a homemaker, member of the Maumee General Baptist Church and a volunteer at the Nursing Home. She was a recipient of the Life Time Achievement Award in 2005.

Survivors include her grandsons, James Baker IV and Jonathan Baker; 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her only daughter, Corellen Baker in 2010 and her husband Levi Beck.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wed., Jan. 2, 2013 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Rev. Ken Nelson officiating. Burial in the Owensville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
