Maridel Catt, 75, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

She was born Jan. 17, 1937 in Corydon. She retired in 2009 due to health issues, from Renzenberger Transportation.

Maridel is survived by a son, Timothy (Jacquie) Vegh of Muncie; two step-sons, Randy Catt of Jasper and Jerry Catt of Patoka; five grandchildren, Mariah Bradshaw, Cole and Kane Bilderback, Tabitha Vegh and Tiffany Loebe; several step-grandchildren; sister, Renea Schooler of Francisco; two brothers, Toby Thompson of Fort Branch and Ricky Thompson of Princeton; sister-in-law, Nelda Thompson of Tell City; also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ancel “Stub” and Fern (Shoultz) Thompson; husband, Randall Catt in 1995; daughter, Jovonna Bilderback; step-daughter, Brenda Alexander; sisters, Georgia Rose Allison and Wilma Jones; brother, Chester Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Todd Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.
