Margaret Lamon, 87, of Oakland City entered rest on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at her son’s home in Oakland City.

She was born June 17, 1925 in Greene County to Delmer & Mary McCammon.

She was a house wife and was preceded in death by siblings Howard McCammon, Mildred Hillig and Joann Royer, and husband Fred Lamon in 1994.

She is survived by a son Doug (Marlene) Lamon of Oakland City, daughter Connie Sue Buck of Indianapolis, sister-in-law Joann Lamon of Petersburg, grandchildren Mike (Jeannie) Buck of Indianapolis, Patty (Jack) Olcott of Michigan, Amy (Matt) Humphrey of Princeton, Brandon Lamon of Oakland City and Taylor Humphrey of Princeton, great grandchildren: Dakota Siekman, Alexis and Jeremiah Lamon of Oakland City and Logan Buck of Indianapolis, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 1 p.m. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services on Friday at the Chapel.
