William J. Schultheis, 84, died on December 8, 2012 with his family at his side.

He was born on July 21st, 1928, in Evansville to Oscar and Nora Schultheis. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann (Brahm). 

Bill and his family lived in Haubstadt, IN in his youth. He met Mary Ann at a wedding reception at Lamey’s Grove Dance Hall. They married and moved to Evansville where they raised a family and made many friends. Bill worked at Sears Roebuck and Co. for 41 years. 

Bill is survived by his five children: Sons- Gary Schultheis (Sandy), Keith Schultheis (Pam), Paul Schultheis (Doris); Daughters- Barbara Schultheis (Ana), Elaine Mischler (Jeff): Sister-Sister Shirley Ann Schultheis, Grandchildren- Bryan Schultheis (Jessica), Kyle Schultheis, Julie Garrett (Rob), Jennifer Collins (Al), Aaron Schultheis, Zachary Mischler, and Jacob Mischler, and seven great grandchildren. 

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at St. Anthony Catholic Church from 8 to 10 a.m. Following visitation, all will gather for a Mass to celebrate Bill’s life.
