Phyllis Fettinger, 76, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

 

She was born Aug. 21, 1936 and lived in Princeton her lifetime.

 

She was a graduate of Princeton High School, class of 1954 and was active with the reunion committee. She had worked for Hansen Mfg., Gibson County Bank and Scraper Jewelry all in Princeton. She was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Bridge Club and Lady Elks. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by a daughter, Amanda Sanders of Princeton; a son, Philip (Sara) Fettinger of Evansville; grandchildren, Logan and Kyle Fettinger, Laura Ball, Kelcee Quick, Cade, Quin and Milla Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Imogene and Wayne Walters; husband, Glenn Richard Fettinger; son, Timothy Fettinger and brother, Jerry Walters.

Funeral services will be held at
11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Hillside United Methodist Church, 828 W. Archer Road in Princeton, with Pastor Lisa Schubert Nowling officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Beta Sigma Phi sorority will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
