Gregory P. McLain, 61, of Evansville passed away Wednesday Jan. 23, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

 

Greg was a route associate for Hostess for 12 years and a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He was active in Boy Scout Troop 336 and was an amateur radio enthusiast. He was an avid fisherman.

 

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Robert McLain.

 

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nancy (Hyneman) McLain; son Aaron McLain of Evansville; daughter, Kathy (Drew) Olson of Paducah, Ky.; grandchildren, Kyle and Leah Olson; mother, Jodey McLain of Tell City; father-in-law, Charles Hyneman of Mount Olympus; sister, Gayla (Dave) Steffe; brothers-in-law, Arthur (Debbie) Hyneman, Don Hyneman and Gary (Phyllis) Hyneman; nieces and nephews.

 

Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Sunday January 27, 2013 at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710.

 

Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Anderson officiating.

 

Burial will be at Locust Hill Cemetery.
