Robert D. “Bob” Riley, 83, of Princeton passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

 

He was born on Nov. 24, 1929 in Owensville to Albert and Bessie Ruth (Adkins) Riley. 

 

He retired from Whirlpool after 34 years. He served in the US Army during WWII.

 

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Paul) Key of Princeton; six grandchildren, Amanda (Key) Murray of Christney, Larissa Key of Princeton, Greg Teeters of Princeton, Josh Riley of Ft. Branch, Stephanie Riley of Patoka and Tina Hammer of Ft. Branch; 10 great grandchildren, Hunter Gentry, Kaylynn Murray, Shaylen, Sydney, Cailyn and Makenna Riley, Tyler and Katen Teeters, Aiden and Riley Hammer; and a sister, Maxine Julian.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dolores Riley in 2009; son, Robert Steven Riley in 1992; sisters and brothers. 

 

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. John Hilbert. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Colvin Funeral Home.  Military graveside services will by retired military veterans.
