Sallie Bell Williams, 85, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013.

 

She was born Oct. 4, 1927 in Ripley, Tenn. to George and Eliza Jane Burns.

 

She retired from Harold’s J.C. Food Store in Princeton and formerly worked at Martha’s Pastry Shop in Vincennes.  She was a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Princeton

 

She is survived by her daughter, Annie Paris and son-in-law, Andrew Paris, Sr. of Princeton; three grandsons, Andrew (Annette) Paris, Jr., Rodney (Sarah) Paris and Brian (Tina) Paris; 10 great grandchildren, Michael, Andrea and Aleesha Paris, Logan, Mariah, Amelia and Rylee Paris, Brian, Marquise and Tyson Paris; one great-great grandson, Lucas Paris; and several nephews and nieces.

 

She was the mother of two children, her son passed away at 7 months old. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 712 E. Broadway in Princeton, with Rev. Andrew Paris officiating. Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery, west of Princeton

 

Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling the arrangements.
