COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Memorial services for Mary Louise Crooks Graceffo, 87, were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, at First United Methodist Church.

 

Ms. Graceffo passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013.

She was born Feb. 2, 1926, in Spencer County, to the late Stuart and Olga Boyd Crooks. The family relocated to Princeton where Mary graduated in 1943.  

 

Her family includes four daughters, Jennifer Wilson of Kingsport, Jean McLaughlin and husband Jim of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, Janice Lee of Lansdale, Pa., and Georgia Stein of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

 

 Mary Louise Graceffo, 87, of 109 Shipley St Cookeville, TN, passed away at 4:22 PM, Saturday, February 16th, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. 
 
Mary was born in
Rockport, Indiana on February 2, 1926, a daughter of the late Olga B (Boyd) and Stuart  Crooks.
She graduated as a cadet nurse from
Deaconess Nursing School in Indiana and retired from the V. A. Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by parents and 1 grandchild Jonathon Ho.


She is survived by  4 daughters
1) Jennifer Wilson- Kingsport,TN
2) Jean McLaughlin - Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada
3) Janice Lee - Landsdale, PA
4) Georgia Stein- Houston, TX
 Eight grandchildren
Carolyn Wilson, Douglas Wilson, Alison McLaughlin, Nelson McLaughlin, Stuart McLaughlin, Carrie Voiland, Miriam Schantz, Jennifer McBride, 
 Eight great grandchilren
Tate Fraley, Logan Fraley, Jordan McLaughlin, Jenevieve McLaughlin, Edwin Voiland, Emery Wilson, Eleanor Crooks, Brady McBride

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Crooks, and a grandson, Jonathon Ho.
