James H. “Buck” Kolb, II, 53, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton

 

He was a 1978 graduate of Princeton Community High School and was employed as a Unit Operator at Duke Energy for 33 years. His hobbies include working on the farm with his granddad Kolb, hunting with his sons, deer in Pike County and duck in the White River bottoms and spending time with friends and family at his cabin on the White River.

 

“Buck” is survived by his fiancée, Kim Price Smith; children, Zach (Jenny) Kolb, Heath Kolb and their mother Paula Kolb; parents, Jim and Judy Kolb; siblings, Kathi (Dennis) Meeks, Jackie Kolb and Jill (Matthew) Embree; several cousins, nephews and nieces; very special friends, Thad Smith, Bryna Bennett and their sons Bryden and Colby.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herdis and Isabel Kolb, Paul and Mary Alice Scott; uncle and aunt, Clarence and Eula Kirk.

 

Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at Decker Cemetery, north of Princeton

 

There will be no visitation.  Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling the arrangements.
